About us

Hello, we’re Rustic 🏠

A little stop on Cát Bà Island where you can slow down, step away from everyday worries and feel at home. Every guest who walks in is part of the Rustic family, and we keep working to give you our very best, because you deserve it. 💗

We’re right in the middle of the island but away from the noise: 70 Tùng Dinh, about 300 m (a 4-minute walk) from Tùng Thu beach. You get deep, quiet nights and everything within easy reach.

Where Rustic House began

After years of exploring almost every corner of Vietnam with our family, living and travelling the way locals do, we wanted to share that kind of trip with you.

    Travelling Vietnam as a family

    We explored nearly all of Vietnam together, took local trips, ate where locals eat and met the people who live in each place. We came home sure that the best travel feels personal.

  2. June 2019

    Rustic House opens in Cát Bà

    We opened at 70 Tùng Dinh, in our own hometown, with a café on the ground floor and rooms above, so we could pass on that kind of local travel.

    Guests still stay with us the way relatives would. We help you plan the island, from Lan Hạ Bay and trekking trips to the quietest seat on the rooftop.
